We are seeking a newly qualified - 2 years PQE solicitor to join our award-winning corporate team.

Overview

You will be working in a client-facing role on a broad range of corporate finance transactions for our enviable list of clients across sectors including healthcare, manufacturing, telecoms, technology and hospitality.

You will have the opportunity to work with a leading corporate team, who were ranked most active deal adviser in the region per the Experian Market IQ M&A Review for FY23 and have maintained their position into Q2 2024. Over the last 12 months the team have worked on over 60 transactions, with an aggregate deal value in excess of £350m.

Responsibilities

  • Working as part of the team on corporate finance and company law advisory work for a variety of clients including owner managed businesses, public companies, private equity/venture capital funds and banks.
  • Developing relationships with team’s clients and key referrers.
  • Conducting legal research.
  • Drafting, reviewing and providing advice on a variety of transactional, finance and corporate governance documents.
  • Supporting the team’s and the wider firm’s business development activities.
  • Providing exceptional client service.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in corporate finance law and practice (whether gained in private practice or in-house).
  • Newly qualified up to PQE 2 years.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Strong academics and work ethic.
  • Proactive approach to learning and development.
