Key Promotions at Mincoffs Solicitors

Mincoffs Solicitors has announced four key promotions following a strong start to the year.

Associate Solicitor Chris Hughes, has been made a Partner within Mincoffs’ award-winning Corporate team whilst solicitors Ashleigh Warne and Denise Arnott from the firm’s Residential Conveyancing team and Wills, Probate and Trusts solicitor Victoria Richer have all been promoted to the role of Associate Solicitor.

Chris Hughes joined the firm as a trainee solicitor and since qualifying into the Corporate team in 2014 has risen through the ranks. Throughout his time at Mincoffs, Chris has successfully attracted and developed a wide ranging and loyal client base across his key specialisms in the healthcare, leisure, manufacturing, construction and IT sectors whilst helping to deliver a number of notable transactions, including the £65 million cross-border sale of Coatsink Software to Swedish based Thunderful Group, Manchester based Steamforged Games’ £5 million VCT led investment from Foresight Group and the cross-border sale of HistoCyte Laboratories to Swedish based Atlas Antibodies.

Ashleigh Warne and Denise Arnott of Mincoffs’ award-winning Residential Conveyancing department, handle complex residential property matters and support the whole team with technical queries whilst also providing managerial support to Head of Residential Conveyancing, Emma Liddle.

Wills, Probate and Trusts solicitor, Victoria Richer, has also been promoted to Associate following 3 and a half successful years with the firm. Victoria primarily deals with high value, complex estates and Court of Protection matters, whilst also supporting her colleagues with training and management.

The promotions continue a sustained period of growth for the firm over the last 12 months which has seen the Corporate team welcome solicitor Max Gilchrist, the Commercial team welcome solicitor Hannah Nagel, the Dispute Resolution team welcome solicitor Corrianne Boston and paralegal Alex Fitton, the Employment team welcome solicitor Laura Tennet, the Residential Conveyancing team welcome solicitor Elly Swinburne, conveyancing assistants Tanya Barker, Danielle Rutter and Lauren Walker and legal secretary Lynn Ellwood and the Marketing and Communications team welcome executive Lauren Bell while the firm once again renewed its commitment to developing its own talent with the appointments of trainee solicitors Jade Watts, Grace Hughes and Bri Cheng.
