The corporate team at Mincoffs has advised on a deal saving a country house and golf club in South Lincolnshire from administration.

Toft Country House and Golf Club in Bourne was saved from administration recently by Giri Golf, retaining the jobs of all existing employees.

The business comprises a three-star hotel and a par 71 golf course, with the acquisition securing the entire business and assets from previous owners Andaro, as well as retaining all 28 jobs.

Giri Golf owners Jon and Clare Graves, who are based in Leeds, instructed Mincoffs’ corporate team to advise them on the acquisition.

“We’re pleased to have been able to secure the future of the Toft Country House Hotel and Golf Club for the staff, our guests and the local community,” said Jon Graves.

“A number of golf clubs have faced closure in Lincolnshire over the last 18 months and we’re particularly pleased to have been able to save the golf club for the community and paying members.”

John Nicholson, partner in Mincoffs Solicitors’ corporate team, added: “Jon and Clare have a clear vision for the future of Toft, its guests and its members and it has been a pleasure to help them start to achieve it.”
