
Mincoffs to offer Personal Licence Holder Training
20/07/2016Newcastle law firm Mincoffs Solicitors has recently diversified its offering by launching Level 2 Personal Licence Holder training from its training centre in Jesmond as well as venues in Sunderland and Durham.
The one day course is designed for anyone wishing to gain a licence in order to sell alcohol on their premises and is particularly relevant for those working in bars, pubs, night clubs, casinos, restaurants, convenience stores and off-licences, sports and social clubs, leisure parks and entertainment establishments.
The programme will be delivered on behalf of Mincoffs Solicitors by consultant Tim Robson, a retired police sergeant in the Durham constabulary, with 30 years of experience in licensing law. Tim is a recognised speaker at regional conference and a North Eastern representative for National Pubwatch.
Tim said ‘I see it as a very exciting opportunity and I am very proud to deliver training in conjunction with such a well-established law firm’.

The Advanced Personal Licence Holder course costs £120 + VAT and includes tuition, a course handbook, lunch and refreshments as well as the exam plus one free resit.
There are also plans to offer a Level 2 Award in Underage Sales and Prevention, premises audits and bespoke licensing training packages.
