10/03/2016We are delighted to announce we are main mascot sponsors of 1820 Foundation charity rugby day at Newcastle Falcons on Easter Sunday (27 March).
1820 Foundation are not-for-profit a registered charity and social enterprise, which was established to support the ex-Armed Forces community in the UK. Their work benefits those ex-military personnel who are struggling with the transition to civilian life, addictions, homelessness and criminal activity. 1820 Foundation aim to help everyone from within the Armed Forces Community and children who have lost family members during the course of military service, and support North East England based community schemes.
We will be providing young mascots with their t-shirts to run out in alongside the London Wasps players, before they face Newcastle Falcons in the crunch Premiership fixture.
Speaking about the partnership, ex England and British Lions legend Steve Bainbridge, who is also a Trustee of the 1820 Foundation said “it’s always great to see local firms supporting good causes in their locality, but to get a firm with the reputation of Mincoffs on board as a sponsor is significant step forward for the 1820 Foundation, and we are hugely grateful for their support with this event”.
