A popular spot for Heaton foodies has reopened under new ownership, with Mincoffs Solicitors advising on the purchase.

194 Heaton Road, which had been home to Lost and Found since 2016 until its closure in mid-2018, has re-opened as Boquerones following a refurbishment by new owner Janet Foster. Janet has had an extensive career in hospitality working in hotels, restaurants and bar concepts across the region and beyond.

Boquerones offers authentic tapas alongside a fully licensed bar and will open throughout the day for lunch and dinner.

New owner Janet Foster commented: “I am so excited to be bringing an authentic taste of Spain to Heaton Road. The area is fantastic and has some great independent food concepts; the only thing that has been missing is a good tapas restaurant. Boquerones offers classic tapas with great vegetarian and gluten free options, alongside a complementary cocktail and gin list; and some really good Spanish wines. I’m delighted we have opened our doors here.”

Malcolm Wood, Partner in the Commercial Property department at Mincoffs Solicitors who advised the Fosters on the purchase commented: “It was a pleasure to act on behalf of Janet to help her get started with her new venture. It is always great to help smaller local businesses and start-ups by giving them the solid advice that they need at the beginning, and we will continue to offer support as they grow. Boquerones is a fantastic new dining venue and I wish Janet the best of luck.”
