Patrick Parsons acquire infrastructure engineering specialist THDA

Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy Patrick Parsons continues its ambitious growth with the acquisition of Birmingham-based infrastructure engineering specialist THDA.

Headquartered in Newcastle, Patrick Parsons has more than 250 specialist engineers and provides design services across civil, structural, geo-environmental and M&E disciplines to blue-chip clients in the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.

Birmingham-based THDA specialises in the design of civil engineering infrastructure for development schemes such as major highways, roads, earthworks modelling and flood risk assessments, and will further strengthen Patrick Parsons’ national capabilities in this market.  Headed up by Directors Paul Tinley and Stuart Hodgkiss, the firm was established in 2003 and clients include Goodman, Roxhill Developments, Gallagher Estates, Prologis and Land Securities/Henley Camland.

The acquisition follows hotly on the heels of the firm’s purchase of Manchester-based M&E consultancy BCM in May this year.
