Private client team shortlisted for top award

Mincoffs Solicitors’ wills, probate and trusts team is celebrating, after being announced as a finalist at this year’s Northern Law Awards.

The department, which is led by partner Lydia McCaslin, has been shortlisted for the Team of the Year – Private Client category.

The award recognises legal expertise, appreciation by clients, client service excellence and team working, and the next stage will involve the team meeting with a judging panel in May.

Winners will be crowned at a glittering award ceremony at Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on Thursday 22^nd June.

The wills, probate and trusts team has gone from strength to strength over recent years, with associate solicitor Janine Kennedy joining the team in early 2022, followed by newly qualified solicitor Amy Tunnicliffe earlier this year.

Head of the team Lydia McCaslin, was promoted to partner earlier this month, while former secretary Tamsin Mennell recently progressed to paralegal.
