Threat intelligence experts join industry leading portfolio

A North East security software company specialising in tailored threat intelligence data has been acquired by a rapidly growing, global risk services platform.

Mincoffs Solicitors’ corporate team advised Intelligence Fusion Limited, which maps potential threats around the world for use across a huge range of sectors, on its acquisition to transatlantic firm Sigma7.

Combining data mining with a human network and expert analysts, the Durham-based intelligence and technology firm provides military grade intelligence to the private sector, conveying real-time information on potential security risks such as combat incidents, terrorist activities, protests and natural hazards.

The acquisition by the global risk experts will allow Intelligence Fusion to boost its talent and technologies, enhance its offering to both existing and potential clients and access a larger pool of resources and services.

Intelligence Fusion founder, Michael McCabe is delighted to join the Sigma7 portfolio.
