Mincoffs Solicitors is continuing its support for local grassroots sport by returning as a sponsor of Newcastle’s oldest rugby club for another season.
Founded in 1875, Northern Football Club is based at McCracken Park in Gosforth and remains a cornerstone of the local sporting community. The club runs 14 junior age groups, with boys’ and girls’ rugby from under-6s to under-16s, as well as a girls’ under-18s team.
Weekly training sessions attract young players from neighbourhoods across the city, with more than 450 players involved across the club’s mixed, boys’ and girls’ teams.
As one of the region’s most established rugby clubs, Northern maintains close links with Newcastle Red Bulls, providing a development pathway for talented players. From under-14s onwards, youngsters regularly progress into the Red Bulls’ development player programme and academy system.
Mincoffs, which has a team of more than 115 staff at its Jesmond offices, supports a range of sports, charities and community groups as part of its ongoing ESG strategy.
