Two former paralegals at Mincoffs Solicitors have qualified as solicitors after successfully completing their training contracts with the firm.
Joshua Carr has accepted a position in the real estate team, while Alex Fitton has joined the dispute resolution department.
During their training contracts, the pair took up seats in a variety of departments and also took active roles in further developing the training contract process for future recruits.
“I’m absolutely delighted to continue to be part of Mincoffs Solicitors,” said Joshua.
“Being afforded this opportunity to train and qualify as a solicitor is testament to the firm’s commitment to invest in their people.
“I look forward to contributing to the continual success of Mincoffs Solicitors in my new role.”
Alex said: “I am grateful for all the help and support Mincoffs has provided to me throughout my time at the firm.
“Therefore, accepting a newly qualified role at the firm was the natural next step and I’m excited to see what the next couple of years bring.”
Malcolm Wood, training principal at Mincoffs Solicitors, oversees the training contract process and believes Joshua and Alex will be assets to their respective teams.
“Both Joshua and Alex were fantastic support to the firm when they joined as paralegals, so it was an easy decision when it came to offering them training contracts a few years later,” he said.
“They have both shown great promise over their time at Mincoffs and we look forward to supporting them as they embark on the next stage of their legal careers as qualified solicitors.”
The application process for Mincoffs Solicitors’ 2025 and 2026 training contracts opens on 1st January 2025.
