Emily graduated with a first class honours in law and qualified as a solicitor in 2009. She started her career at a prominent commercial law firm in her hometown and joined Mincoffs in September 2012.

Emily was promoted to partner in July 2021 and is the head of the firm’s family department.

She has extensive experience in all aspects of family law and represents clients across the country and abroad.

Her work includes advising married and non-married couples on all matters that arise on relationship breakdown with a particular strength in financial remedy. She manages a broad and complex case load, and her expertise lies in cases involving high net worth individuals, which are multi-faceted and will often involve complex business structures. Emily’s work also includes advising and drafting pre and post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements, often working with the corporate and private client departments to assist client’s and their families with preservation of wealth and gifts.

Emily also deals with private law children matters, assisting and advising parents in dispute to resolve arrangements for children.
