Under the Licensing Act 2003, responsible bodies and ‘other persons’ can apply to review a premises licence or a club premises certificate. This can result in a hearing before the Sub-Licensing Committee and ultimately the revocation of that permission.
It is vitally important that should you receive a review application, you seek immediate legal advice. Often with the right preparation and mediation, issues can be resolved prior to a formal hearing. Do not leave your preparation for a review until it is too late.
