Review Proceedings

Under the Licensing Act 2003, responsible bodies and ‘other persons’ can apply to review a premises licence or a club premises certificate.  This can result in a hearing before the Sub-Licensing Committee and ultimately the revocation of that permission.

It is vitally important that should you receive a review application, you seek immediate legal advice.  Often with the right preparation and mediation, issues can be resolved prior to a formal hearing.  Do not leave your preparation for a review until it is too late.

For advice about review proceedings, call our Licensing and Gaming team on 0191 281 6151 or email Matt Foster, Head of Licensing and Gaming on mfoster@mincoffs.co.uk.
